So we recently imported an RSS file containing all of the posts from our old blog into this new site (the one you’re looking at now). Thats geeky tech-speak for “we moved all of the old crap to the new site”. So now there is about double the amount of content.
Also, it turns out that our new site allows us to see all sorts of useful and statistical data about how many people are checking us out (who knew??). It lets us see page views, what google searches lead people here, and occasionally what porn site you came to us from.
As it turns out, people have been landing on our page after doing a google search for the term x-pac. This makes us feel happy for two reasons. One: we know that our site was built with good Search Engine Optimization in mind (Sean made an obscure reference to x-pac in a post from our old blog). And two: people out there are still knowledge hungry for anything even remotely related to the embittered ex-WWF star (who knew??)
So hats off to the Internet for being smarter than we are, and to our fancy new website for being the #1 destination for all things X-PAC.

What’s worse than driving out to Long Island on Labor Day Weekend? Driving out to Long Island the day after Labor Day Weekend at 9pm on a school night (work night).
To prepare for some upcoming shows, Mark and I are headed out to an on-again off-again studio we keep out in Suffolk county to grab some gear. The traffic isn’t so bad, but being in the Astrovan makes this feel like a true band mini-trip, replete with multiple coffee stops, bad FM stations, and the need to just be in a bed somewhere.
On the other hand, this short trek will gear us up for a longer trip on Friday down to Washington DC where we’ll now be playing with “surprise guest”. We’re hoping it’s Gary Glitter so we can cash in on the attention from his recent headlines.
Signing off.

For those of you who missed it yesterday, our good friend April Smith, of April Smith and the Great Picture Show fame, received some much deserved flattery from new media tycoon (of sorts) Perez Hilton. Our very own Josh Greenfield played guitar with April for a bit and we’re way stoked for her impending fame. She’s got some shows coming up in NYC so try to catch her before she explodes.

Our month long residency in the LES will be coming to an end tonight at Pianos. The show is completely free. Just show up, enjoy the music, and pray for another celebrity sighting. We’ll be there around 9, enjoying PBR’s with grape and cheese platters. So if gruyere is your thing, stop by and say hello.

So this past Monday marked the second of three shows this month at Pianos. Thanks to everyone who came out, especially Sarah Silverman (!) who made a surprise appearance during It Is It, the free comedy show that precedes us every week. Her set was brilliantly off the cuff (she was writing jokes at the bar right before she went on) and she’s a babe, so theres that. Todd Barry also performed, so it was a pretty start-studded evening. Come out early this coming Monday to see who turns up. Show starts at 8 and just like ours its FREE!

Vote “The Canon Logic” for the band of the month at The Deli. With your help we will get some free recording time, and therefore have more songs for you. It’s a win-win situation.

Hey Kids,
Come join us tonight as we continue our August residency at Pianos in the Lower East Side. Its a great bar and our show last Monday was tons of fun, so we’re looking to outdo ourselves. If you like comedy, get there early for a free show run by producers of the Daily Show and featuring comics and writers from SNL and Best Week Ever.
Pianos is located at 158 Ludlow St. at Ludlow and Stanton.
Comedy starts at 8pm, we go on at 9:30.
