After the release of our first single, Avenue of Criminals , from our up and coming album, FM Arcade, we are happy to be back and rocking out at one of our favorite NYC venues, The Mercury Lounge , 217 E Houston Street. We will be hitting the stage at 8pm, so be sure to shoot over after work, get nice and liquored up, and loosen up those dancing hips, I know mine will be beyond what most would consider humanly possible.
“Get on the Helter Skelter. Bowl into the fray…”
P.S. First person to identify that quote gets a track from FM Arcade.

So, the guys in Aerosmith are saying that Steven Tyler has quit the band.
They will go on without him. Hopefully Tyler will do a solo project so we can hear more of his lyrical gems.
Shut Up and Dance:
Sex is like a gun
You aim, you shoot, ha ha, you run
When you’re splittin’ hairs with Mr. Clean
It’s like gettin’ head from a guillotine
…damn he’s good.
If you have not yet had the chance to check out “Phrazes for the Young”, first solo release from The Strokes front man, Julian Casablancas, please do yourself a favor and stop what you are doing to pick this album up. I have been waiting for a new Strokes album for what seems to be years now, and lets just say that this was a pleasantly epic filler while they work on their next record. I have never really been one to read or write reviews of albums, music is not something I can put into words, so I will just say that it has been blasting in my ears on repeat for about a week now. Bad azz record.
Has anyone else seen this commercial, and noticed its resemblance to the Gorillaz track ‘Fire Coming out of the Monkey’s Head’? They seem too similar for this to be a coincidence, right? Tell me if I’m crazy.
I read an article about famous frontmen who write songs for other artists, rather than keeping the potential hit for themselves. I did some research and found a Lennon/McCartney song penned for fellow Liverpoolian Cilla Black, and a song that Chris Martin calls ‘the best Coldplay song ever’ (though the final product is a less than impressive Natalie Imbruglia tune.)
Love of the Loved (written by Lennon/McCartney, performed by Cilla Black)
Check out the original Beatles version of the track here.
And here is the sh*tty Natalie Imbruglia track written by Coldplay’s Chris Martin:
