What’s worse than driving out to Long Island on Labor Day Weekend? Driving out to Long Island the day after Labor Day Weekend at 9pm on a school night (work night).
To prepare for some upcoming shows, Mark and I are headed out to an on-again off-again studio we keep out in Suffolk county to grab some gear. The traffic isn’t so bad, but being in the Astrovan makes this feel like a true band mini-trip, replete with multiple coffee stops, bad FM stations, and the need to just be in a bed somewhere.
On the other hand, this short trek will gear us up for a longer trip on Friday down to Washington DC where we’ll now be playing with “surprise guest”. We’re hoping it’s Gary Glitter so we can cash in on the attention from his recent headlines.
