Tonight Mark and I went into the studio to finish the vocals on our forthcoming release. Eager to finish, but easily sidetracked, we deflected to playing with the many gadgets of our mastermind producer, Ron Robinson Jr. After recording countless pianos, mellotrons, and tubular bells we decided it was time to tackle the vocal tracks. Mark championed the booth for 2 hours, finishing all of his vocals, before we had to call it quits for the night. We promise, the end is near! Our week is booked with shows on Friday and Saturday night at Sullivan Hall and Fat Baby, respectively, but we will be in the studio next week putting the finishing touches on our yet-to-be-titled sessions.
