As the proud owner of George Harrison’s own busted guitar string (as well as the above photo) I was thrilled to hear that Scorsese’s new doc Living In The Material World: George Harrison will feature never-before-heard recordings. From the AV Club:
Scorsese mentions that the film will also previously unreleased Harrison recordings, many of which come from cassettes that Harrison’s widow Olivia has unearthed of music he recorded while still in The Beatles.

According to NME.com, Liam is developing a film about the final years of The Beatles based on Richard DeLello’s book ‘The Longest Cocktail Party: An Insider’s Diary Of The Beatles, Their Million Dollar Apple Empire And Its Wild Rise And Fall.’
I love the Beatles. I love Oasis. Oasis loves the Beatles. This news should probably fill me with excitement. So why the trepidation? Anyone who loves Oasis is all too familiar with Liam’s petulant streak and penchant for sabotage. Its the kind of stuff that makes Oasis so fun after all these years, even after the split. But who knows, maybe he’ll pull it off. I’ll do my best to remain cautiously optimistic.
